A traditional form of paintings in Rajasthan is known as Pichwai art, which is characterized by the detailed decoration and motifs related to devotion, the life of Lord Krishna, and the beauties of nature. These beautiful pieces of art are usually made on cloth and add an air of religious beauty to a room. MG SocialCare Foundation empowers the needy communities in Rajasthan through training them in Pichwai art. Artisans create marvelous works during big workshops and practice so as to express their culture. When every one of these works of art is purchased, it gives the rural artisans a livelihood that is sustainable and it assists in keeping this age-old tradition alive.
